Last month, ALIC vice president Zhu Dongfeng together with China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textile and Apparel paid visit to Ethiopian Investment Commission in Addis Ababa. He met with Mr. Aschalew Tadesse, UN PIGA Project National Coordinator; Mr. Amdework Berhanu, the Director of Ethiopian Clothing Manufacturer Association; Mr. Ageazi Hailemariam; Mr. Seleshi Lemma, the Director of Industry and Textile Industry Development Study Institute, coupled with other governmental officials and industrial representatives.

Ethiopian side gave an introduction on investment policies and infrastructure and their hope for China's investment. Two sides also made cordial exchange on Ethiopian hydropower supply, foreign exchange control and environmental protection standards.
