Last month, ALIC vice president Zhu Dongfeng together with China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textile and Apparel paid visit to Kenya. He paid visit to the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Kenya in Nairobi and met the Vice Minister, Ms. Betty Mainer, and the Director of the Kenya Manufacturers Association, Mr. Abel Kamau, General Manager of Investment Promotion and Business Development of Kenya Investment Authority, Mr. Pius Roti?, International Trade Center PIGA Project National Coordinator Mr. Hellen Rintari, Kenya Export Processing Zone Authority Chairman Mr. Fanuel Kidenda and other government officials and industrial representatives. Chinese delegation has listened to the introductions pertaining to Africa development strategy, investment environment, motivation policies and mechanisms.
