Last week, a video conference on “Joining the Philippines: Seeking Business Opportunities for Development” was jointly held by China Chamber of Commerce of Metals, Minerals & Chemicals Importers & Exporters, the Philippine Embassy in China, the Philippine Investment Agency and the Commercial Office of the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines, in order to promote the cooperation and development between Chinese enterprises and the Philippines in trade and investment. Jose Santiago Romana, Ambassador of the Philippine Embassy in China, and Jiang Jianjun, Minister Counselor of the Commercial Office of the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines have attended the conference and delivered keynote speeches. More than 200 business representatives attended.
