Last month, first China International Consumer Products Expo present a successful opening ceremony at Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center ( Haikou ). Hu Chunhua, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and vice premier of the State Council, attended the opening ceremony, read a congratulatory letter from President Xi Jinping and delivered a speech. Envoys in China, officials of relevant central ministries and commissions, provinces (autonomous regions and cities), key exhibitors and purchasers also appeared the opening ceremony.

The total exhibition area covers about 100000 square meters with two major parts: Country & Region Exhibition and Industries Products Exhibition.

Official statistics predicts that this exhibition will bring 240k visitors, 1505 exhibitors, and 2628 high-end brands from 70 countries and regions in the world.

ALIC president Mr. Liu was also invited to attend the expo.
