The 2021 World Manufacturing Convention, held in Anhui last month, stayed focused on strategic emerging industries, boosted a deep integration between digital economy and real economy, intensively displayed new technologies, new formats and new mode of manufacturing industry, and probed into opportunities, challenges and "good prescriptions" for a high-quality development of global manufacturing industry through a high-end dialogue. Zheng Shanjie, Party Secretary of Anhui Provincial Party Committee and Party Secretary of the Standing Committee of Anhui Provincial People's Congress, read a written speech from Vice Premier Liu He of the State Council and delivered a speech. Wang Qingxian, deputy secretary of Anhui Provincial Party Committee and Governor, chaired the opening ceremony.

Under the theme of "Innovation-Driven, Digitally Empowered and Global Manufacturing Industry Aligned for High-quality Growth", the 2021 World Manufacturing Convention held more than 20 events, including major events, "600" project matchmeeting, special events, parallel forums, exhibitions and other segments.
