EXPORTS DISORDERD TO JAPAN & LIBYA

2011-04-11 From:ALIC    Reader:3072

ALIC’s business of exports have been affected by civil unrest in Libya and the earthquake and tsunami in Japan since March.

At present, the rising price of raw material will impact the recovering economy seriously. The political unrest of Middle East and North Africa will force up international oil price, leading to price generally advanced on downstream products. The post-disaster reconstruction of Japan may increase the need of raw material referring to iron ore, aluminum, wood, and so on, further pushing the price of raw material.

Meanwhile, the ships to North Africa and Japan have been impeded with late delivery, resulting in the rapid increasing cost of shipping.
