On September 2, the Cross-Border E-commerce Platform Special Matchmaking Event, hosted by CCCLA, was held in Shenzhen. The meeting was chaired by Vice Chairman Zhang Jie of the Chamber, and ALIC’s President Zhu Dongfeng and Sales Manager Dai Yunpeng were invited to attend.

During the exchange, ALIC gained insights into the differences between the cross-border e-commerce strategies in the Pearl River Delta and the Yangtze River Delta. In the Pearl River Delta, the predominant approach involves extensive distribution, focusing on stocking goods. This region is characterized by a high degree of informatization and automation, leveraging the advantages of the 3C electronics industry and well-established international parcel services to broadly distribute goods. The enterprises attending the event had inventory ranging from a minimum of 300,000 SKUs to as many as 1.3 million SKUs, adopting a strategy of thriving through sheer volume. In contrast, the Yangtze River Delta's cross-border e-commerce is based on the consumer goods industry chain, focusing on crafting high-quality connections and building vertical brands with a focus on the product itself.
