CAFTA (China-ASEAN Free Trade Area) is defined as the free trade area composed by China and ASEAN’s 10 countries including Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Myanmar, Cambodia, Brunei Darussalam, namely "10 + 1". It aims to cut all tariff and non-tariff in order to eliminate the tariff and non-tariff barriers on both sides, building a comprehensive framework referring to a series of measures on the market integration, such as investment promotion, trade facilitation, trade harmonious, investment rules and standards.
From last year, ALIC had sent many trade groups to visit Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Philippines, which achieved better results.
