In early October, the 2024 Global Textile and Apparel Summit and the inaugural meeting of the International Supply Chain Committee of CCCT was held in Huaqiao, Kunshan. The event, organized by the CCCT, attracted nearly 300 entrepreneurs and industry experts. Representatives from ALIC, Xu Lan and Zhang Xia, attended the event.
To proactively respond to the restructuring of the international supply chain, upgrade the local supply chain, and explore and integrate overseas supply chains, CCCT announced the official establishment of the International Supply Chain Committee during the event and held a plaque-awarding ceremony. ALIC was honored as one of the inaugural presidium members.
During the meeting, Commercial Counsel An Zhengyi from the Consulate General of Egypt in Shanghai, Economic and Commercial Counselor from the Embassy of El Salvador in China, Commercial Counselor from the Embassy of Pakistan in China, and Chen Zhening, founder of Vietnam’s INTERERAS, provided detailed insights into the textile and apparel industries and investment opportunities in their respective countries.
In the context of a sluggish global economy, intensifying trade conflicts, and the reconstruction of international supply chains, the establishment of the International Supply Chain Committee by CCCT provides an advantageous platform for companies to optimize domestic and international resource allocation to adapt to global changes.
