The glue is suitable for accurate positioning, docking, coupling and fixing of optical fiber products.
Features of series products: very low shrinkage, good transmittance, low thermal expansion coefficient, high bonding strength.
Mainly applicable to: photoelectric converters, optical receivers, optical connectors, amplifiers, optical bidirectional connectors, CWDM/DWDM (SFP optical module), sensors, filters, etc.
WDM Multiplexer, BOSA, BOSA, ROSA, TOSA, VCSEL, WDM, laser, photodetector and other optical communication devices package glue/adhesive glue.
UV2550 is a UV-epoxy adhesive which can be cured in seconds while exposed to certain intensity of UV source in the range of 320-380nm. The reaction will continue for days because of the cationic-triggered mechanism. The warpage or deformation in cure, thermo shock and high temperature storage can be minimized because of the ultra-low CTE and on-cure shrinkage.

Recommended Cure Condition | Wavelength: 320-380 nm Expose Time: 30s Intensity 200 mJ/cm2 Above condition is just one typical and recommended curing profile. Cure condition can be changed with different expose time and UV intensity. Usually higher intensity requires shorter expose time. The basic physical property can be slightly different with different curing condition. Post heat cure can accelerate the reaction and achieve best mechanical property within short time. |

Storage | a) Store the material at temperature below 8°C and above 0°C with good ventilation. b) The shelf life is 6 months. |

Application Assistant | a) UV 2550 is usually packed in 30cc or 10cc syringe and stored in 0-8°C refrigerator. Take out the syringe from refrigerator and place it vertically in a syringe holder. Wait for 60 minutes at least until the glue is completely thawed. The thawing time can be lowered with an air-blower. Do not thaw the glue with oven or other heaters. b) Apply the glue onto components or substrate with equipment or manual dispensing after complete thaw. Attach other component to the dispensed glue. c) Cure the glue according to the recommended condition or other proper conditions. |
